Liverpool 5-1 Newcastle

Liverpool THRASHED Newcastle on Sunday with goals from Gerrard (2), Hyppia, Babel and Alonso. Newcastle didn’t stand a chance and if it wasn’t for Shay Given it would have been 20-1.

Liverpool 3-0 Bolton

Liverpool eased to victory against Bolton on Boxing day. Liverpool had around 70% of the possession as Riera scored once and Keane scored twice.

Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool

Liverpool drew 1-1 at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal on Sunday. The draw puts Liverpool 2 points clear at the top but Chelsea have a game in hand. Van Persie scored first for Arsenal just before Keane scored an incredible goal to make it 1-1. Liverpool had way more chances but still could only score 1 goal. Adebayor was also sent off.

Liverpool 2-2 Hull City

Liverpool drew 2-2 with Hull on Saturday after being 0-2 down from plays started by freekicks that should never have been. Hull only really had two chances in the whole game as Liverpool dominated. Gerrard got Liverpool’s two goals to keep them top.

PSV 1-3 Liverpool

Liverpool qualified for the knock-out stages of the Champions league on Tuesday night by topping the group with a comfortable win over PSV. PSV scored first with a goal that came from a corner that should never have been. Babel equalised before the break, though, with a header from Lucas’ freekick. Riera then scored an amazing goal in the 2nd half before Ngog scored to finish the game off. Keane played really well but didn’t score. Loads of young players played including Jay Spearing, Martin Kelly and Stephen Darby.

Blackburn 1-3 Liverpool

Liverpool got three goals in the second half from Alonso, Benayoun and Gerrard. Santa Cruz also scored for Blackburn but didn’t make any difference.

Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

Liverpool go top but only by one point as they drew 0-0 with West Ham on monday night.
