Liverpool go back to the top of the table after beating Portsmouth at Fratton Park. David Nugent scored first, followed by Fabio Aurelio, Hermann Hreidarsson, Dirk Kuyt and Fernando Torres.
Liverpool are out of the FA Cup after losing at Goodison park on Wednesday night. Dan Gosling scored the winner in the 28th minute of extra time.
