More of the same, getting to know players and the players getting to know me.
Raheem Sterling scored 5 of Liverpool’s 9 to go through into the quarter finals.
Assisted Matthew with U11a. Despite not having a big role in the training session, it was good getting involved and getting to know the players. They’re a really talented team, they just need to cooperate with eachother and be more supportive. I was impressed with the discipline they showed when warming up by themselves.
I mainly was there observing, giving bits of advice, controlling one of the possession drills and helping the coach with cones and bibs.

I’ll officially start volunteering for Give Back Go Forward tomorrow, assisting the coaches for an U11 team. I’ll be keeping a log on this site and filing under category ‘Give Back Go Forward’.
