Liverpool THRASHED Newcastle on Sunday with goals from Gerrard (2), Hyppia, Babel and Alonso. Newcastle didn’t stand a chance and if it wasn’t for Shay Given it would have been 20-1.

Liverpool got three goals in the second half from Alonso, Benayoun and Gerrard. Santa Cruz also scored for Blackburn but didn’t make any difference.

Alonso scored in the first half as his shot took a deflection off Bosingwa to beat Cech. Liverpool played way better than Chelsea coz Chelsea are rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alonso had a freekick bounce off the post in the second half as both sides had a few chances.
