Liverpool beat Chelasea!!!!!!!!

Liverpool are now clear at the top of the table by three points by ending Chelsea’s record of 86 home games unbeaten. Alonso scored in the first half as his shot took a deflection off Bosingwa to beat Cech. Liverpool played way better than Chelsea coz Chelsea are rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alonso had a freekick bounce off the post in the second half as both sides had a few chances.

Liverpool face Wigan today without Torres and Babel who were injured while playing for Spain and Holland respectively. Mascherano and Lucas are doubtful after traveling back from South America with their international teams. Liverpool are still 2nd in the premier league so they need a win while Chelsea must drop points for Liverpool to go top.

Man City 2-3 Liverpool

Liverpool came back from 2-0 down at half time to score their 1000th Premier League goal and 2 others to stay on the same number of points as Chelsea. Torres scored twice to make scores level before Kuyt finished City off with a 3rd.

On Tuesday night, Liverpool came back from a goal down to get the Champions League Campaign. Gerrard scored the most amazing goal ever to make it 1-1 then put away a penalty after Babel was fouled in the box. You can watch the goals on FootieDB.

Liverpool are at the Stade Velodrome tonight as they face Marseilles. The last time Liverpool played Marseilles in France, Torres scored a brilliant goal as just one of the 4 goals Liverpool scored against them without return. Mascherano may not play as he limped off at the Man U game. Gerrard and Torres may still not be 100% fit.

Liverpool beat Man United 2-1 in the 4th Premier League game of the new season. A Wes Brown own goal and a Ryan Babel strike meant Liverpool remain in 2nd with the same points as Chelsea in 1st.

Liverpool face Man United this weekend with Gerrard and Torres back in training and named in the squad. The two teams kick off at 12:45 tomorrow with Liverpool not having the best of records recently against Man U.  Lucas will be the only Liverpool player definitely out of the game after only just coming back from international duty. On wednesday night, Liverpool beat Standard Liege 1-0 at Anfield after Dirk Kuyt scored the winner in the second half of extra time. It was goal-less until the substitute Ryan Babel made a brilliant cross for Kuyt to knock the ball in at the far post.
